Any idea if this will work on a 2015+ Versys? There’s some plastic fairing on the sides of the tank that I’m worried would interfere with the magnetic wings.
It should fit fine. We have a smaller magnetic tank bag that would work better! https://www.vuzmoto.com/collections/bags-luggage/products/mini-tank-bag-with-phone-window-magnetic-mounting-system-multiple-compartments-and-leather-finish
The tank bag you are looking at would also work, those magnets are pretty versitile.
Will this work on 2018 heritage classic
Yes it will!
Where does the full-size helmet get stored? On the exterior via the cargo net? Or does the inside of the pack accommodate the helmet? Or do both? Thank you!
The inside of the backpack can accomodate the helmet!
My speed triple tank is plastic. Do you have straps for this since it will not magnetize? Thanks,
It comes with a cargo net that's pretty handy to strap the bag down in several places but there are no supplemental straps. Bungee would be the best for the tank but you can use any straps you'd like!
Are the staps removable and what is contacting the tank? I am concerned about scatching the tank.
The straps unclip at the bottom of the bag and tuck behind the back pad. We implemented a new (scratch proof) material on this version of the backpack -- the pad that rests on the tank is very smooth and soft and weon't scratch your tank.
